Salman Mahajir
Salman is a seventh-generation litigator who comes from a stable of pedigree and seasoned training. He enjoys litigation due to his flair for intellectual fencing. The domain of his practice is varied and includes construction, contractual disputes, real estate, defamation and franchise litigation with a special emphasis on construction disputes. He represents a broad cohort of clients from the construction industry including owners, developers, contractors and sub-contractors. He has practiced in India, England and Toronto. He brings to the table, a confluence of unyielding tenacity, creative thinking and readily employable wit.
Salman equipped himself with a thoroughly honed set of negotiation skills by pursuing a Masters in Settlement Negotiations from University College London, England. He then moved on to get a good grasp of the commercial climate in Canada by pursuing a Masters in Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. His skills of articulate and assertive advocacy and his people skills dovetail with his understanding of the finer nuances of commerce and trade, granting him the ability to find unique remedies to client problems.
Salman takes the time to carefully explain to his client the intricacies of the legal process. Instead of providing formulaic and one-size-fits-all solutions, he gives thoughtful consideration to the problems of his clients before providing tailored and pragmatic solutions. When he is not advocating for his clients, Salman can be found taking solace in horse riding, perfecting his swing on golf courses or hunting new restaurants in Toronto.
