Shuchita is a seasoned legal expert possessing over a decade of litigation experience. A dual-qualified lawyer and a former Litigation Partner at a prominent Indian law firm (now a Legal 500 Firm), Shuchita has worked on a variety of cases – from anti-corruption matters to business law issues or commercial matters to family law. Over the years, she has worked with a variety of clients successfully representing some of India’s leading corporate and political names at various fora including the Supreme Court of India, the highest court under its Constitution.
A disputes specialist, Shuchita is often engaged on matters involving complex commercial disputes dealing with breach of contract, fraud or deceptive trade practices, or even employer/employee disputes. Strongly believing in the uniqueness of each case, she provides pragmatic, cost-effective solutions leveraging her extensive litigation and ADR experience.
Shuchita’s industry experience runs deep in a variety of sectors some of which include Telecom, Real Estate, Pharmaceuticals, and Financial Services/Instruments.
Shuchita also has experience with family law matters dealing with issues such as divorce settlements, negotiations, and mediations. She works closely with each of her clients to reach amicable, real-world solutions that provide equitable relief and a sense of closure for her clients.
Passionate for human rights, Shuchita often takes pro bono cases and has a pro bono and in-person landmark judgment in her name before the Supreme Court of India. This judgment is currently being taught as part of the legal curriculum in India.
